This is a nice storyreel! I like the message that you transmit, you talk about something that happens to a lot of teenagers. I was a shy girl (I still am), so I really connect with your character.

Nice story reel! I really enjoyed the visuals. Your art style is unique and I think the pictures really helped tell this story. This main character seems really relatable. Good job :) and congrats on completing the XP!

ACT 1
Once upon a time - a guy went to high school
Minor beat - he was new and didn’t know anyone
Minor beat - he was quiet and painfully shy
Every day - he would keep to himself and be afraid to be with others
Minor beat - he would blend into the background
Minor beat - he would hide in the library during lunch
Until one day - he didn’t want to be alone anymore…
Minor beat - so he would be someone else… Someone that wasn’t afraid and shy
Minor beat - He liked to draw and paint. Why not go to the Art Club…
ACT 2
Because of that - he went as someone else, someone who wasn’t afraid and shy like Cama
Minor beat - some other students saw his work and liked it
Minor beat - he was watching anime for dynamic poses, and it was said to him to go to Anime Club
Because of that - he went to more clubs and liked being around others…
Minor beat - he goes to Drama Club Next, Lit Mag Next, and then robotics Club next
Minor beat - each new club, a new mask to take on and wear
Because of that - he took on more responsibility and work than he had anticipated
Minor beat - he struggles every day with changing to different masks when around different people
Minor beat - he is overworked from all the responsibilities from the various afterschool clubs, afraid to let his fellow students down
ACT 3
Until finally - many dead lines were coming together and it was becoming too much for him
Minor beat - he couldn’t handle all of it and broke down and storming off in a bundle of doubt, fury and self-loathing
Minor beats - Luckily, a few students stayed back to help him through things.
And ever since then - he knew that he really could have real friends, even if it was just a couple, they’d be his true friends
Minor beats - the robot works in time for the competition, the lit mag releases as scheduled, the, the drama puts on their musical, the anime club has their movie night , and the art show opens
Minor beats - he realizes that he didn’t need other personas to have friends, true friends that he could count on and trust
The Moral of the story is… being a people pleaser often leaves you drained and unhappy and it’s not the quantity of friends, but the quality of friends that matter, and to always be yourself
