Hi Mason, I like your story about Reggie and how your related to the character. I think the challenges Reggie goes through are similar to how your personal challenges have helped you understand others and help them too. I think it's a good metaphor to show Reggie as a pizza slice since he is a likeable guy and pizza is good cuisine to share with people.

Hi Mason! I'm so glad to see your final submission!
I don't know if I can tell you something new that I haven't told you before, but I want to thank you for sharing your story with us. It's a beautiful way of explaining the problems that unfortunately many people face. I greatly admire the courage to share your own story with us, as well as the enthusiasm you have put into all this. I believe that your positive attitude is an example for many people.
I really hope to see this story at the ceremony, since without a doubt you deserve it. Congratulations on finishing the Xperiential program! If you ever need any help, reach me on Discord!

I thought I would come and comment on your video since you always do a good job commenting on other peoples videos. This was a heart warming story and I liked it a lot. This story reminded me of my friend who is very brave like Reggie. I think this is so well done yet in a way that can appeal to all ages. Very great job!

Thank you! I had hoped it would be a story that any age could enjoy. I like that it reminds you of a friend too. I really enjoyed this class (and your story too! I went over to watch it since I saw you on here) and tried to learn from all of you. I also liked how supportive this class was in so many ways. Thank you for commenting and watching my final submission!

I appreciate that so much because it was a lot of work for me! I am sure like you with Chico, when you have a story you are excited to share it is nice to know it was enjoyed. My mom helped teach me about editing since that was pretty new for me too. ;)

Thank you so much, Nicolas! I tried to think of how to show autoimmune disease, cancer, or other illnesses in a way where it could apply to anyone and in a way that would make sense. When I thought of food, which led me to pizza, it all just clicked. Thanks so much for not only watching my project but also commenting!

Just want to say this was incredibly inspirational. It was moving and you can't really ask for a piece of art to do more than that. You've inspired me to give blood as well so thank you thank you for all the hard work you did on this!!!! Please come back and keep making your stories :)

Thank you so much!! Your comment just made my whole day because I really hoped it would be all the things you said it was. Also, I am so excited you are inspired to give blood. One blood donation can save up to 3 lives, which I think is amazing. True heroes!! Thank you for taking the time to make this comment. You have inspired me to keep going with this and I have enjoyed this class so, so much. I appreciate all of the hard work that went into giving all of us the opportunity to be better story tellers and artists. I learned a lot and had fun!

That was SO AMAZING. It’s so great that you told your own story through this class, and your bravery and kindness really shined through Reggie. The short was so heartfelt and I could really feel how much you put into this project, I was tearing up while watching it. The story was very compelling, your drawing and coloring were great, and the music really added to it. I love how you added clips of yourself doing all the things you drew Reggie doing, to really show others that they can make a difference in their own lives, not just in stories. You’re a real hero, and it’s amazing that you decided to tell your story. Such great work, 10/10!

I am so glad you said that. I really hoped that others would see what you can do in real life too, doesn't always have to be just a story. Kinda like your story too. Size, age, it doesn't matter! I am glad you enjoyed the story, I had fun telling it and hoped there might be some actual lessons in it. Thank you so much for watching it and I really will miss checking back here for your updated projects!

Reggie loves his life, it is predictable and happy. Until he suddenly falls ill and his "normal" life is taken from him. He has to fight through fears, be brave, accept his new journey, and find ways to heal through helping others who are sick. He realizes the whole time he was trying to get back to normal, normal is always changing and always different. Normal never really existed at all!
I worked hard to get my final project under 5 minutes. I am so excited I was able to do it! For fun I added a bonus clip as well for those of you who caught on to my story. Thank you to all of you who watched Reggie's journey and were so helpful along the way. I will miss this class and all of your projects too! I hope all of you keep pursuing your dreams, never give up!
Also, I noticed my video wasn't playing properly so I uploaded it again. Hope that isn't a problem! ;)
This is where the special thanks would go! I’m assuming they will be a little longer this week, therefore, I designed extra space for them. If there is far more description and special thanks then there is space, this entire box becomes scrollable.
