I like the boiling line animation style--it gives life w "static" image. I really like the message of your story, and I'd love to see what you were doing related to your great uncle's hobby let's say. I see that he's painting and maybe that could be a Jason's thing too. Overall, the story is relatable to all of us.

What an amazing story to learn from. Taking care of others always seems to be beneficial to taking care of oneself. Since you are family you literally are. Thank you for this inspirational story. I can't wait to see what music and sound effect (like phone ringing) you will add later. Please post it on Discord so I can see it. Great job!

This is a really nice story, Jason. It sounds like you really took quite a personal story and brought those details to us. We appreciate your openness and hope all is well with your family.

Hello,
Great work with your submission and congrats on reaching the end of this course.
You presented a clear story with a cohesive and stylish art style that really affirmed the emotion and atmosphere of your story.
I really enjoyed the static-y nature of your outlines - the subtle movement really made your video buzz and created a sense of unease for me.
Each frame was well constructed and conveyed something important to your story. They were dynamic and fun to watch.
Your voice over also complemented the images and story well - definitely adding instead of subtracting.
Overall, great work! Looking forward to seeing where you take this.

Hi Jason!
Wow, the story really sucked me in and made me feel for each person. It can be hard to deal with life's obstacles, but patience, hard work, and observations can really improve our everyday lives. Your story reminds me of how unpredictable life truly is and how it's important to just try your best every day. That is enough!

Thank you. You are absolutely right, our lives can flip upside down at any moment and we have to just roll with the punches and do our best, even if our best doesn't come close to our expectations.

Unfortunately life caught up with me and I was too busy to finish but I enjoyed what I could and learned a lot from the lectures. This is my story spine and the description on my original post.
Once upon a time, in the country side of Aguas Buenas Puerto Rico, I, Jason Amy worked hard on my craft.
Every day, between what I did in college and in my personal projects,
I thought single mindedly about becoming the best version of myself.
Until one day, my grandfather became ill. My father went to visit him in Manhattan
for what was surely the last time
on the last day of his stay,
he passed in the early hours of that night.
Because of that My father explained to me the situation that my grand uncle, Victor was in.
I did not know at the time that he was a schizophrenic and the doctors didn't know he had mild
dementia but everybody around him knew he couldn't be left alone.
My father had spent the last eight days trying to clean the apartment up but it was an impossible task in such a short amount of time.
I offered to continue on for him and get my uncle up to date with all his medical issues.
Because of that I ended up going to Manhattan, the heart of New York City to help my uncle, but when I arrived I realized that
this would take more time and effort than I originally anticipate. I have been in NYC for more than a year dealing with the aforementioned issues in
his life and being his caretaker.
Until finally, three months ago, his apartment has been straightened, made safe and the majority of his health issues have been dealt or addressed.
Ever since then he has been happier, healthier and free to express himself artistically, walking better, standing taller,
he looks twenty years younger.
The moral of the story is going to be around the importance of patience, hard work and the importance of being observational in our daily lives in order to understand problems
and come up with solutions.
This is where the special thanks would go! I’m assuming they will be a little longer this week, therefore, I designed extra space for them. If there is far more description and special thanks then there is space, this entire box becomes scrollable.
Special Thanks:
Team:
Jason Amy
