Apologies for the late response, but congratulations with your final submission! Your story is well told and your drawings are very cute! Also, great line confidence in your drawings. Besides that, you used some very strong shot choices and the addition of music gives it that extra touch of emotion.

Although I think that the story could’ve worked very well without narration, I think you did a great job of doing the narration in a very convincing way!

Fantastic voiceover, and the turtle designs are so cute! I love how ambitious the project is too, you can tell right from the very beginning that the story is going to be something unique and special, and the message that the story is conveying is so important and much needed. By telling a story of survival, we're really thrust into this world that you've created and I loved every second of it. Phenomenal job!

The music you used goes very well with the story However, your voice is very quiet and very hard to make out the words. From what I can see right now, I think you did a great job of making the audience sympathize with the main character, as the turtle is facing a huge challenge, and I can't wait to see how the story ends!

First of all congratulations on delivering the first part of your story. I think your drawings are great! It is a brave decision to change the story last moment, but I am sure you can do it! When you deliver the final work I would suggest tuning the voice-over a tad louder, because it was hard to understand sometimes. I am very curious how the story develops. Below is a bit of feedback since I know you are continuing to work on this until the 25th. Hopefully the notes are helpful, but as always, feel free to ignore any that don't match your vision. And most importantly, congratulations on finishing your storyreel!

- It was pretty difficult for me to hear your voice over, especially in comparison to the music. I think it's an issue of the voice work being to low in volume though, because I had to turn up my speakers quite a bit to make out what you were saying. I definitely recommend increasing that. (Definitely keep the music though because it's beautiful.)

- Your turtle drawings are absolutely adorable! It's all quite beauitful art that looks like it could be straight out of a coloring book (minus the baby turtle massacre).

- It's an odd choice to me to use vultures in this story since they are scavangers that prefer to eat already dead things. There are lots of animals including a few birds that do eat baby turtles, so I'm wondering why you chose vultures. Is it more for their creepy design rather than any sort of accuracy?

Overall, I really like the style of this whole thing and think the concept has a lot of potential. I know baby turtles have to overcome a lot to survive into adulthood, so there are plenty of interesting obstacles you can throw their way.

I can't wait to see the final version! Best of luck getting it all done before the deadline. You can do it!

I took in consideration your comments while making the final reel!
About the vultures, I made some research and found out that in some beaches the vultures and some other birds are the predators of baby sea turtles, so I preferred the vultures because there looks is more horrifying than any other bird and it will suite the moral of my story!

Interesting! I had no idea the vultures went for anything that was alive. They are definitely more visually interesting, so I totally understand that choice.

I also really love the full story reel! It feels almost like a poem or motivational video in a way. I'd still recommend lowering the volume on the music (or increasing it on your voice), but I was still able to understand you and enjoy the entire thing. Great work, and congratulations on getting it done! It's definitely something you should be proud of!

I think your illustration style and storytelling is very relaxing I think your animal illustrations are awesome. This is a cute portayal of an animal story.

The turtle design is totally adorable! I like that your character is forced to face a great challenge as soon as she’s born. Things should be simple in the initial stages of life, however this and many other animals face daily survival.

I am really very interested in knowing what the little turtle will do to face this challenge. I hope you can finish by next Friday, good luck!
