This was so fun to watch! Definitely a tug at the heartstrings, but amazingly done! I love the bit where they just kept missing each other, haha. Glad they found each other in the end! You made the audience care a lot about Jazzy and Melody! Great job!

After watching your short film, I felt happy for Jazzy and Melody in the end. To start off, your story was really well written. As much as it would be interesting to hear the characters talk, the imagery was so strong that there was never a need. You did such a great job with the visual storytelling that it was easy to understand the most important parts of the story. I could really understand Jazzy and Melody's goals. It was also very emotional. The imagery and great choice of music almost made me tear up (luckily I took it like a man!). I also love the expressions. In one scene the girl with the glasses was happy for the other girl to be accepted into college, but it was more bitter-sweet because she wouldn't see her friend again, or so she may have thought. That scene while small was very impactful to the story and I easily caught onto it because of the visuals. I really loved how the background wasn't too distracting to the story and when there was a huge emphasis on the background, I was easily able to know what the main focus was within the background. Sure there were times when I could see the backgrounds through the characters but that's alright.
There was only one shot I had an issue and that was from the very beginning. At the 5-second mark, the drawing with the boxes was not up long enough. I had to rewind. Other than that, everything else is practically perfect. If I had to rate your story reel, I'd give a 95/100. Well done Bella! Also, you made the music!? Great job! Thanks for being a part of the program.

Thank you for such amazing feedback!!!! I'm glad you liked it, and yes I did make the music! I used my keyboard and the different instruments it has, along with making sound effects with some doors and books with the rain outside!

Amazing. I thought it was pulled off the internet but it looks like the talent was right where you needed it to be, within you.

Congrats on finishing your story! It was really funny when the two planes totally missed each other. It was surprising that they opened a gardening shop together in the end. I’m wondering, did you write the song yourself? Good work!
